Cards From Ogden Point is no longer operating.

Thank you to the small group of loyal users who enjoyed using the site.

The Storm Worm killed the traffic on the site and most other E-Card sites.

The use of FaceBook, Twitter and other interactive sites has also taken its toll on E-Card sites.

Cards From Ogden Point had more visitors on some days in the "good years" than it had in the entire 2008 calendar year. The net result of my traffic counts in 2008 indicated that it cost me somewhere between $.020 and $.030 for each card that was actually sent from the site. The site was a hobby and a lot of fun when it was busy. The annual renewal for the service seemed worth while when there was lots of traffic and the people using the site were sending feedback and comments. In 2008 even the spammers weren't bothering to send feedback.

When the renewal for the card sending service came due for 2009, I decided to let it lapse.
