There is always lots of activity in Long Harbour with all the boats going past to the marina and docks at the end of the bay. As well there are 2 yacht club facilities located in the bay. This is an excellent location for exploring with your Kayak.

This 2300 square-foot 2 1/2storey house is situated at Salt Spring Island's Long Harbour. There is a sidewalk steps to the shell and stone beach. There is also a 160-foot walkway leading to a deep-water float for moorage.

The home has a stone fireplace, and bright southeast facing windows. Patio doors lead to the deck, with its barbeque and view of Long Harbour.

The larger village of Ganges is a 10-minute drive and offers full amenities and services, including restaurants, shops, mini-malls and galleries. Fulford Village has a collection of unique shops, a general store, a marina, two restaurants and a pub. There are 2 golf courses on the island, plus boat rentals, kayak rentals, bike rentals, movie theatre marine store and a dive shop.

This is the Sunroom with its’ view of Long Harbour. Enjoy the ocean atmosphere from this bright room with it’s large windows and skylights.

This is the Master Bedroom with it’s view of Long Harbour. The bedroom with it’s 2 accompanying decks and private full bathroom and sitting area, is on it’s own floor at the top of the house.

This is the view of our deep-water moorage as seen from the main floor of the house. This is a 45-foot float in 15 ft. depth at low tide. This is shared with the cottage on the other half of the property. Moorage is only available with pre-arranged permission.

No smoking anywhere on the property. No fires permitted. It is very dry during the summer with no hydrant nearby to access water. There is a 15' bluff near the house fronted by bushes and trees.

Considerations
There is a shared telephone provided for local calls only. High speed Internet is also provided, as well as Cablevision. There is one other dwelling on the property below the house (down a hill - excellent privacy). There is a canoe, rowboat, oars and paddles available but no life jackets. There is a deep-water dock attached to the property.
