Montage and Editing Techniques

Montage/editing will be reviewed as an art form and how editing can be used as a powerful and effective tool in your production.

The basics of editing will be analyzed and various films that are interesting from an editing point of view will be reviewed. There will be discussion of various techniques, both unconventional and conventional.

The goal here being, how to make the most of creative expression in the editing room. We will also have hands-on editing session(s) related to class projects.

Assignment: Editing scenes from the school projects.
