Methodology:
The Quantitative Carrier test for Sporicides- Sattar, Springthorpe was
adapted for disinfectants. These new methods are being adopted by the ASTM,
CGSB, EPA and Health Canada. Additional organisms are continually being
tested to broaden the kill spectrum of Benefect™. The statements of
antimicrobial activity are based on independent laboratory testing.
Preliminary tests using a half-concentration Benefect ® formulation & GLP-compliant
procedures, designed to approximate actual-use conditions, indicate minimum
efficacy against the following organisms:
