Forge and Blacksmith Shop 

An old time coal fired forge is on the premises and guests who stay two nights are encouraged to try their hand at blacksmithing.  They will make a small project and receive a diploma to take home with them.  We supply all safety glasses, gloves, and aprons. 

Many hand forged items are available for sale in our Carriage House Gift Shop, along with hand made soaps, hand dipped beeswax candles, farm fresh eggs, and Pennsylvania Dutch Good Luck Symbols ~ these colorful signs are found on barns, fences, and houses in the Eastern Provinces and States.

Try your hand at blacksmithing and make a small project to take home.
Other forge items for sale include: candle holders and candle snuffers, napkin rings, harness or tack hooks, all sizes of wall hooks, hat and coat hooks, kitchen pot hangers, dinner gongs, a reproduction of a halibut hook, and hand made nails.
