our Redeemer Pacific Catholic College. Cloverdale
Catholic has a few students who have already graduated from there, and some
of our students have gone on to work at the College as recruiters.
Whitney Agassiz is currently working there. She is a CCS grad of 97 or
98.

Committee meeting at parish centre 7pm. Anyone
interested in helping, please come. Golf Tournament is on August 8 at
Hazelmere.

Tuesday, May 13-First Degree at the Knights
Chambers at Star of the Sea in White Rock. We
should have 4 or 5 candidates going through. Degree starts at 7:30pm,
candidates to be there at 7:00pm.
Wednesday, May 14-Council Meeting at 7:30pm.
Election of Officers will be conducted at
this meeting. Please, if you are an officer, please be there, and if
you are not an officer, please come and show your support for the new
executive.
Saturday, May 17-Cloverdale Rodeo Parade. The
Knights will have their parade float in the parade. Council members
will be walking with the float. If you have a blazer and tie, that
would be great, if not come with jacket over dress shirt and tie.
Saturday, May 17-Major Degree's at New
Westminster. Registration at 11:30am.
Degree's will be completed by 4:45pm at the latest.
Sunday, May 18-Blood Donor Clinic at our parish
centre from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Please
help honour Laura Poelstra and Jessica Shoemay, both from our parish, by
donating. To schedule an appointment, call 1 888 2 DONATE. Our
council has put out a challenge to the other Surrey and Langley Councils.
Let's show them we are the leaders.

Installation of Officers TBA, possibly a joint event with Fraser Valley
Council 2552, with Barbeque. Tentatively June 14.
Wednesday, June 18 at 7:00pm at our Church. To
Be Confirmed: This spiritual event
is being planned in conjunction with the Eucharistic Congress being held
that same week in Quebec City. EVERY Knight of Columbus Council in
Canada is asked to participate in this event so that at 7:00 PM, every
parish that has a council will be in Eucharistic Adoration at exactly the
same time. This program developed here has been shared with all
Canadian Jurisdictions so that coast to coast, as 7:00 PM arrives in every
province, Knights, their families and parishioners will be participating.
Saturday, July 5 - BC and Yukon State Council Golf Tourney at
Two Eagles in Westbank. We are sending at least one foursome, with a
couple of others interested. Let me know if you would like to go.
Drive up on Saturday morning, golf, have dinner, stay the night, and return
on Sunday morning. Should be lots of fun. $65.00 to golf and eat
in a foursome, or $70. for an individual. Lodging extra. Call
