Over 125 years ago
Father McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus with a vision. This vision has
grown internationally into an organization of:
- 1.7 million
members
- 12,500 councils
- yearly we donate
more than $130 million to charitable causes
- over 60 million
volunteer hours to those in need
In British Columbia
and Precious Blood Parish:
- our Council is
involved in many endeavors including Columbus Charities - the Knights
Senior Citizen Housing Society with four complexes and 375 units, with $12
million in assets.
- In partnership
with the Cloverdale Legion, Elks and Lions, we operate the Hoffman Manor
Senior’s Residence.
- we are involved
with the K of C BC Charity Foundation and its Charity Car Raffle in which
we raise annually $650,000.
