Why I believe

... and why others don't

I theorize that there are three primary reasons why there are Non-Christians.

  1. Insufficient information
  2. Inaccurate information
  3. Lack of desire (which can translate into anti-Christian aggression)

It is impossible to categorize all people with simple labels, however most non-Christians I've interacted with seem to fit into one of these three. The purpose of this section is to provide responses to the first two problems by informing people and correcting any inaccurate misinformation they may believe. In the process I hope to demonstrate that there are no truly compelling intellectual or philosophical reasons to reject Christ.

inform (in-form) v. To impart information to; make aware of something

Perhaps you simply do not know about Jesus. Plenty of information is available, but perhaps you don't know where to start looking, or what information is correct. Hopefully this website proves useful to your on your journey.

correct (ko-rekt) v. To remove the errors or mistakes from

Perhaps you have been taught false information about Jesus. Non-Christian religions (those who believe they are Christians as well as those that do not) usually have their an understanding of Jesus that differs dramatically from Biblical teaching. Hopefully I can help point you to the Truth.

Perhaps you've been taught inaccurate or incomplete information about philosophy, science, the Bible, and so on. Some people have been fooled into believing that Christianity has been proven false. I'm hoping to correct some popular misconceptions to help those who are honestly seeking the Truth.

defend (di-fend) v. To make or keep safe from danger, attack, or harm.

Perhaps you've simply decided to reject Jesus out of hand. An unfortunate decision, but it was yours to make. Part of the purpose of this website is to demonstrate that your incredulity is not based on any particularly persuading set of intellectual or philosophical reasons. There does not exist even one good reason for a person to reject Jesus, and those who do reject Him do so simply because they want to, not because logic or evidence dictates they must.

Some people who reject Jesus have invented some pretty creative intellectual defenses of their decision. Sometimes those who would like to get to know God get persuaded by their ill use of reasoning, and their often inflammatory rhetoric. Of course, I'm not the only one who holds this opinion of Anti-Christians.

How is this accomplished?

Think of this website as a series of portals that point the reader to their particular area of interest, as well as providing some guiding thoughts from a Christian perspective. The essay format is used to give an overall outline of a field of discussion, with many links to articles that discuss details of the field. Every effort has been made to accurately represent both sides of an opinion, at the same time as explaining why I consider the Christian view to be superior.

The biggest mistake you could make while visiting this site is thinking that it provides all the answers. It doesn't. I am NOT the Bible Answer Man. This site is intended to give you an intro into many different fields of discussion, and provide resources for your further research. It assumes that you have a keen interest in learning, keen to the point where the information contained here will simply be inadequate. While I do not claim to have all the answers, I have attempted to respond to various counter-Christian ideas on my own, rather than providing links to other sites. I sincerely hope you will read each of them with a critical mindset, and provide feedback.
