The Revised Book of Mormon

This work is the product of some hard work, and way too much spare time. The King James Version of the Bible is incredibly difficult for many people to read, hence the popularity of 'modern' versions. While maintaining the accuracy, modern versions are based on a re-translation of the original text in 'modern' English (and other languages). This is the reason for such popularity of these versions. However, the Book of Mormon will never be 'revised' by the Mormon church, as their theology claims that it was 'divinely' translated.

This is my effort to make the Book of Mormon more readable. I am not Mormon, and I do not believe this book is an inspired word of God. However, in order to carry on an informed conversation with Mormons, we must read and understand what they are reading.

The changes I have made are mostly the updating of archaic words, but I do not have the time to change the sentence structure. For example "Thus saith the Lord" would read "This says the Lord". It's an old structure, but modern words.
