investment legislation, the other on private international law and matrimonial property.]
- Member of the McAvity Committee (1988-89) that restructured mortgage law, developed plain language mortgage
terms, and developed the technical forms and legislation to facilitate electronic land title registration.
- In 1995, I chaired a committee of judges, family lawyers, plan
administrators and plan advisors to develop clauses for dividing
pensions under Part 6 of the Family Relations Act, that are the basis
of standard precedents for court orders and agreements generally in use
in B.C. today.
