Please get in touch with us for more details about how to make a donation to further the Permaculture work in Canada or in other parts of the world. Let us know if you require a receipt for your donation. Thanks. The donations will be used for education, research and restoration projects.

EDUCATION:

Every year the Kootenay Permaculture Institute receives many requests for financial support to help cover the cost of tuition for the permaculture design course & other courses presented in many parts of the country. Once our expenses are covered, our goal is to be able to offer some work trades and scholarships to participants that require it. You can help us reach more people by offering a participant a full or partial scholarship.

RESEARCH:

Your donation can also be used to further the research in the field of permaculture. There is a need for more research on permaculture in Canada and other parts of the world. What is also needed is to document the research and publish more documents, books and articles about permaculture work. We would like to continue doing that important work.

RESTORATION:

More trees & shrubs need to be planted in many parts of the country and also in many parts of the world. Your donation can be used to cover the cost of growing and transplanting trees, shrubs or other plants to restore some areas that have been damaged.

Donations can also be in the form of tools, resources, (plants, seeds, etc.) or time. Let us know what you have in surplus and we might be able to put it to a good use.
