Peter Jancewicz is a pianist, composer, writer and teacher. He holds a Masters Degree in piano performance from McGill University and a Doctor of Music Degree from the University of Alberta. Teachers have included Kenneth Woodman, Charles Reiner and Helmut Brauss.His piano music for students is published by Alfred and Alberta Keys. His more advanced music is self-published and available through his website. He is currently writing music for "The Godchild", a film from producer/director Philip Spink. He is a regular contributor to Clavier, and his articles have appeared in various newsletters across Canada.  He has taught at Medicine Hat College and Alberta College Conservatory.  He is currently a member of the piano faculty at Mount Royal University Conservatory in Calgary, Alberta where he also serves as Coordinator of Academy Piano.
