May 2001-November 2001: Cypress County, Dunmore, AB
Implemented the Rural Address System for the County - using digital base maps created in AutoCAD, and overlaying digital, orthorectified air photos using the ERMapper plug-in, placed a dot on the map showing the location of residences in the County; gave the residences an address by applying the rules set forth by the Planner which is based on the Township and Range System
Learned AutoCAD Map, touched up maps in AutoCAD r.14 to prepare the Map book for print and Microsoft Access
Used the HP 5000 Plotter to print hardcopy wall maps and other maps
Updated the Tourist Brochure for the County using Adobe Illustrator 8.0
As a Community Economic Development Officer (CEDO), worked on an Economic Profile for the County using the BAIS system at www.albertafirst.com; also created an Economic Profile in hard copy using statistics through Statistics Canada and local sources
May 1999 – September 2000: Dry Press Operator: I-XL Industries, Redcliff, AB
Ran the dry press to make bricks, ensuring that bricks were the proper size, shape and also had the correct pressure applied to them
