Daisey is a lifesize Yorkie, standing 12" from her paw to the top of her head, and 13" from her nose to derriere. She is made with gorgeous 3" tan and black Schulte mohair, which has been meticulously hand trimmed in her ears, and on her legs so that her coat is as naturally graduated as possible. I've also needle sculpted her face and ears, and styled her fur to keep it out of her eyes. She has a soft sculpted, painted and glossed ultrasuede nose, and waxed pearle cotton mouth and claws. Daisey's German glass eyes are inset into her head against felt so that it shows a hint of whites, and she also has applied ultrasuede eyelids with handpainted accents. These details give her eyes the most realistic, sweet look :). Daisey has carefully airbrushed brown and black accents on her muzzle, lips, eyes, toes, ears, and pawpads too! She is stuffed with fiberfill & lots of glass beads and poly pellets for weight. Her neck is swivel jointed, and her body is fully wired to allow posing in so many cute positions! |
