Darling Marigold is a beautiful Japanese Chin Lady dog. She's a petite thing, standing 9.5" from her paw to the top of her head, and 10" from her nose to derriere. She is made with beautiful 1.5" white and strawberry blonde Schulte mohair, and 3" for her tail and ears. Her coat has been meticulously hand trimmed all over for a realistic effect, so that it increases from about one inch along her upper back to longer along her sides, chest, and breeches. I've also needle and scissor sculpted her face, limbs and ears, leaving appropriate tufts on her legs. She has a soft sculpted, painted and glossed ultrasuede nose, waxed pearle cotton mouth and claws, and individual nylon whiskers. Marigold's German glass eyes are inset into her head against felt to form eyelids and the endearing startled expression of a Chin :). Marigold has lightly airbrushed subtle pink, brown, and black accents on her muzzle, lips, eyes and toes, and painted pawpads too. She is stuffed with fiberfill & lots of glass beads for weight, and is fully wired to allow posing in many sweet and playful doggy positions!
