Please meet sweet petite Prince Louvel, my very first prototype papillon dog, made with a one of a kind pattern. Louvel stands a neat 10" from nose to rump, and 10" from paw to head, not including his ears. He is made with long 1 1/2" white and black schulte mohair, and 3" for his tail and ears! He has a soft sculpted, painted and glossed ultrasuede nose, waxed pearle cotton mouth and claws, and individual nylon whiskers. Louvel's German glass eyes are inset into his head against felt to form eyelids and a hint of whites. I've needle and scissor sculpted his face, limbs and ears, and lightly airbrushed subtle pink on his lips and toes. He also has a touch of black around his muzzle and adorable 'pawpads' too! He is softly stuffed with fiberfill & glass beads for weight, and his legs & tail are wired so may be posed in many doggy positions. Louvel's head is not actually wired, though it may be slightly posed 'this way or that', as demonstrated in the above photo. He's such a dignified, handsome boy, and has a wonderful gentle manner that is sure to please.
