Flithi are a fanciful newly discovered species, so far as I know; possibly related to the squirrel family. They are magical, spritely, "funny little things" . They have large ears, long furry tails and can have wonderfully unusual coats with playful color combinations and markings. Anything goes with these little guys, and each one is unique. Flithis may require me to linger over them for days, changing this or that, until they're 'just right'...no matter how silly it may seem to me! They know what they like, and aren't afraid to be themselves. Now, if you're thinking of adopting one in the future (those shown on this page already have homes), please be aware that while they are very cute and sweet much of the time, they can also be quite mischievous. You may have noticed the impish grins abundant throughout the photos..these were taken in between extreme bursts of afternoon energy (following lunch, you see), of which I am an unfortunate participant. *Those little claws really are quite sharp*. Luckily, flithi also have a vain streak so I am able to coax them to sit, and pose still for a few moments..after part one of the merry chase of course. And Oh thank goodness for that...otherwise I'd just be a crazy lady claiming to live with imaginary animals! That aside, these tiny creatures are still a delight to have around the rest of the time. When you find yourself with a warm, slumbering little furball on your shoulder, it makes up for anything.

Flithi are all about 6" tall and long, and have long tails ranging from 7 to 11 inches! They have tiny fingers suitable for climbing trees or grabbing cookie crumbs, and.they are highly energetic, quick, and have excellent balance. Large open ears aid in cooling, so while they may tend to have long thick fur they will still thrive in a warm climate. Flithi are very social and will prefer to live with other critters if possible, otherwise they may follow family members around like a little shadow seeking attention...most especially Mom or Dad. If this is undesireable or you simply need respite, place flithi next to your childhood teddy bear or loved stuffed animal, (any plushie with a soul will do), and a fast friendship will surely form.
