Tourist Season Book Preview

I've just self-published a new book of my black and white images titled 'Tourist Season'.

The tourist, away from the cultural comfort of his home, is an amusing thing, especially when armed with a camera. As Susan Sontag wrote, "Most tourists feel compelled to put the camera between themselves and whatever is remarkable that they encounter. Unsure of other responses, they take a picture."

This is a travelogue which examines not places, nor the people who live there. It's a study of the people who live somewhere else.
