This is an article taken from "The Australian" in Albany, Western Australia, dated April 4, 1892. It describes the death by drowning of William Taylor Ogg, the young son (age 11) of Captain William Ogg and his wife, Mary Auchinachie, daughter of William Auchinachie and Isabella Troup.

The next piece is a short history of the life of Peter Alexander Auchinachie who was born in Scotland and eventually emigrated to Duncan, British Columbia.
