Searching for a particular image?

Searching for just the right photograph for your Web site or publication is difficult at the best of times. But searching for photos on the Web can be particularly daunting. We can offer you three methods to help you find what you need.

If you don't see what you're looking for here, please contact us. We may be able to offer you something very close or even acquire the image especially for you if that's what you need. Will Corbis or Getty do that for you?

Text Based Site Search

Using PicoSearch, we can offer you the ability to search for photographs on our site using text descriptors. For best results, use specific locations or descriptions of the place you're looking for rather than general key words.

Hand Search

Sometimes, the best method is the old fashioned method: a personalized hand search of our files which we know inside and out. We can do that better than any search engine will ever be able do it.

Send us your photo requirements by email and we'll search our files for you. We can advise you by return e-mail whether we have what you're looking for and post copies of images that you may be interested in on a private web page for you to view. Or we can send you low resolution copies of images by return e-mail.

Browse Our Pages

One quick way to search is to browse our Stock Photo Lists or our Galleries and see if there is anything that matches your needs. Bear in mind that only a small number of our images are contained on this Site, however, we keep our Stock Photo Lists up to date. If you see something that you think might suit your needs, please e-mail us to get further information and to learn about usage rates.
