Lori Goods C.D.T.A.

A native Calgarian, Lori fell in love with dance at a young age and trained in the Al Gilbert tap as well as the ADAPT jazz and tap syllabuses, completing top levels. In the early nineties she was fortunate enough to join Calgary Dance Theatre, a local performing dance troupe, and joined them on their Alberta, Australian and European tours. Lori’s dancing feet continued to grace local stages in the University of Calgary’s Dance Montage, Dance at Noon, and the U of C’s Mainstage productions.

Teaching dance is Lori’s true passion and she has inspired hundreds of students over the last decade to pursue their highest dreams. Lori teaches everything from tap, jazz and musical theatre, to African and hip hop, beginner to advanced. She is also the director of Tappestry, Calgary’s only all-girl 18+ tap company. When she is not teaching, Lori takes as many local workshops as possible and frequents Vancouver and LA to keep up with the ever-changing dance world.
