The Chief

There is much climbing to do on The Chief, (un)fortunately most of the routes that travel its entire height are 5.11 and harder. There is, however, a notable exception:

 The Squamish Buttress (5.10c) ***1/2
This classic is the easiest line up to the South Summit, with only a move or two of 5.10c, which could be (>gasp<) aided if you are feeling weak, reducing the grade to 5.9 or something. The route (roughly) follows the left skyline in the photo above. Any of the routes on The Apron can be taken to the rambling woods at 1/3 height, whereupon you can no doubt following every other Tom, Dick, and Harriette to the top.
