Rock On

Rock On has recently been elevated to classic status in the most recent guide (*** 1/2) and it totally deserves it. It has a short well protected crux and fantastic positions throughout. Although mostly a corner crack, the climbing is varied. The fourth belay seat is the best I've seen in Squamish.

Tom Pypker has never really given me permission to put any pictures of him on the internet, so please restrain yourself from going public with them and doing something that would embarrass him. Really.

This is Tom on the last pitch, which, to be truthful, is a bit of a sandbag. I won't tell you that he fell off just here.

Witness the belay seats of belay seats. Hanging well above the South Gully, Tom is perched atop the fourth belay station. It is shady and perhaps a bit cool in here, but the position ROCKS.
