Dooley

When I took wedding vows on August 20th, 1999, the Dooleys became my in-laws. But I had been sleeping on their couches long before all that.

 Michael Dooley

A modern-day John Wesley Powell, Michael works to play on rivers. In a commuter's dream, he works from his home in Ewok Village, California.

He specializes in technical drawings, bread making, and helping out people like me with my computer problems. He has a great rafting page.

 Becky Dooley

Becky, like my own Ma, is a wunderbar. Like Michael, she enjoys playing on rivers, but of special note to me was the effect she has on sewing machines. She is the Rackmananov of whatever German machine she has, and it spits out garments for family and friends alike.

She also makes a mean cup of jo.

Someday soon, you will be able to order seed from the garden where she works; specializing in flowers that attract hummingbirds.

 Maggie

Maggie and Paul live in L.A. Maggie is working for A&E, but spends most of her time realizing a plot to take over the online world. She is an admitted technophile, and runs a chic and successful online jewelry site. Go check it out, but be forewarned: you will buy something.

Sean Maggie and Paul have had their first baby boy, ushering Michael and Becky into proud and barely containable grandparenthood. Wheeeee!

 Paul

Paul is a comedian and beat poet trapped in a stage manager's body. He hates L.A. more than anyone I know. He has done the whole standup scene across the USA and Canada. His poetry is available in his first book, Dead Beat. Go check it out.

 Jennifer

The youngest Dooley has returned from an extended stay in Chile. While there, she sent us the coolest hats. Decidedly tired of school, Jennifer is finishing her undergraduate in History at UC Santa Cruz.
