The
Neighborhood
Officially Eastside, the house is in the area know as Commercial Drive,
"The Drive" considered Vancouver’s ‘Little Italy’ with its cosmopolitan
mix of trendy through Bohemian to Grunge residents and visitors.
Located just far enough away from the noise, hustle and bustle of
Downtown it provides a more gentle, quieter way of life, but offers
easy access to Downtown and most other areas of interest.
The whole area can be walked easily, nothing is very far away.
By car about 15 minutes to the city centre, 20 mins to the airport and
Richmond, and about 35mins to/from the US Border. Whistler is 1.5 to 2
hours depending on weather and traffic. Snow tires or chains are
required north of Squamish at certain times during the Winter.
