SENTENCES: SHE HAD NEVER TOUCHED A CAMERA BEFORE uses found text from the South African newspaper "The Weekly Mail", now called "The Mail & Guardian". The concept focuses on the importance of having visible historical images to document certain periods of time, and refers to Lindy Wilson who made a film about political prisoners on Robben Island.
