| The text for SENTENCES: SIX YEARS which was found in the South African newspaper, "The Weekly Mail", now called "The Mail and Guardian". The content concerned a young man, called David Bruce, who was sentenced to six years in jail for having refused to be conscripted into the South African army on ethical grounds (i.e. not as a pacifist) because the army was employed in enforcing the apartheid system. | |||
