Glen Meadows Curling Association offers a variety of youth and adult programs for those who would like to learn how to curl and for those who would like to improve their curling skills.
We offer introductory curling sessions in October and January and intermediate and advanced clinics at regular intervals during the curling season.
Our coaching personnel have years of recreational and competitive curling experience
and several of our instructors have Level 1 or Level 2 - Curl BC coaching accreditations.
Instructors focus on game fundamentals, delivery technique, balance, sweeping skills,
game strategy and, of course, having a safe and enjoyable time on the ice.

Each year, men and women of all ages come to Glen Meadows to learn about the sport of curling. For those who are new to the sport, we offer introductory curling clinics and participation in our Novice League. At the introductory clinics, we will teach you the basics of how to curl.
Our instructors will provide guidelines regarding safety on the ice
along with information on appropriate equipment and clothing.
At the introductory clinics, you only need a warm jacket,
clean shoes, and the desire to learn one of the greatest sports on ice!
If you want to learn more after you have attended an introductory session, you can join our Sunday Novice League that provides a combination of instruction and a regular curling match each week. The Novice League runs over an 8 week period and we hold one session in the fall and one in the spring. In our view, the best way to learn how to curl is to challenge your fellow curlers to a game and the Novice League provides the perfect opportunity for this! For more information on introductory curling clinics or the Novice Curling League, check our website for upcoming EVENTS. Alternatively, contact the Glen Meadows Association for more information.
