             Welcome to I.O.G. Medical I.D.! We are a small business specializing in a very unique product that will provide you with peace of mind. Our medical units are in widespread use throughout the world, both as an emergency medical information source, and as a simple record-keeping tool. The units contain all the information needed for medical personnel to immediately begin treatment, without resorting to phone calls, medical data lookup, or online access. These units have been in use since 1975 under a variety of names, including Life Alert I.D., Tinman Medical I.D., and Pet Alert I.D., but have remained essentially the same in both function and design, since their creation. Including past incarnations of our device, we currently have a client list in excess of 75,000, and continue to grow!

             All trained medical and emergency personnel recognize the unique symbol emblazoned on the front of our unit, and will automatically look for it on a persons wrist or neck. We strongly recommend that the unit be worn upon the right wrist, where it will be seen when a pulse is taken. You should wear your unit at all times.

             The core of our unit is the collapsible , folding 6 panel system. Our units are 2.4 x 1.8 x 0.5 cm (7/8 x 3/4 x 0.25 inches) in size, so are quite compact. Each panel can hold 105 characters at standard type size (630 characters total). Where we can, we use medical abbreviations to reduce the total number of characters, and fit more information on the panels.
