Dear Classmates,

In June 1956 the first Hacker's Open took place at Highland Municipal Golf course in North Royalton. Records of this outstanding euent have long since been lost in the mist of time.

Over the weekend of our 50^th EHS reunion we hope to recreate some of the uproarious hilarity and inventive rules interpretations which accompanied the last outing. We have reserved tee times with Manakiki on August 19^th. The cost is $47/person with power cart. The game will be a modified scramble so that everyone can contribute to the team's score. More later.

Some of the members of our graduating class who participated in the first Open but who have passed away are: John Bock, Joel Herman, Jay Phelps, Paul Schwegler.
