Geneology |
|||
I will not be putting my house member geneology here, as that would require expressed permission from my chief Nikateen and the members. In the future I hope to post the geneology of my family name Sexsmith. The feedback I received from Sexsmith's across Canada is interesting. As for my own family, house geneologies take it back to the early 1800's, in the Wolf clan. At that point, anything prior, the people used their Gitxsan names. My question was,did we receive the name arbitrarily or was it married into our family. Sexsmiths from across Canada insist it couldn't have been arbitrarily given. The only Sexsmiths I know of in our area, is my immediate family. |
