In order to maintain fairness and integrity of the hub, we will require that you abide by our simple and non-negotiable set of rules. Once it’s been discerned that you are able to comply with these rules you will receive an email giving your nickname (as chosen by you) and your password (auto-generated) along with log-in instructions. |

We are happy to have you join us, however if you are not community-spirited and committed to sharing your downloads back to the hub, this is not the place for you. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES: NOTE: Effective April 1st 2006 we will require a referral from a member of the Rush Hub in order for you to join. You will be required to provide an email address from an ISP (not gmail, not yahoo etc.) We reserve the right to request other information as well. Sorry about that but thanks to the ignorance of a few the many must suffer. Hopefully this will be temporary. No lossy format shows will be shared at the hub. SHN, FLAC and APE are the only acceptable file formats in the Rush Hub. No sharing of commercially available material. This includes warez. No Porn!! No sharing of .wav files – you must configure your decompression program in order that you don’t “forget” this rule. You must share what you download. If hard drive space is an issue you might want to reconsider joining. We monitor shares to ensure this rule is adhered to. This hub is all about sharing and you are expected to share back what you download. We require a minimum 10GB share. You will have one month to acquire 10GB’s. We also require Rush shows comprise at least 5GB of said share. You are expected to enter the hub with a 10GB share minimum at all times. If you are new to trading and have no shows to share, we understand and are here to help you. It is critical that you get a share ASAP tho. This means you must download ONE show and after verification share it immediately. If you have shows on audio CD that you want to rip and share, great! However do not rip and share a show that is already present on the hub. In order to maintain integrity, we prefer not to have multiple versions of the same show. Have no more than 2 shows in your download queue. Members don’t take kindly to having their queue flooded by one person and have a tendency to firewall those who do. You’ve been warned! We understand it is easy to get carried away with the wonderful assortment of material available but you must maintain control here. Take time to enjoy what you have. Do Not Download directly into a shared folder - create two folders - one for downloading (unshared) and one for sharing. Only after a show is complete and verified error free can you share it (see Help Setting Up link below) Video: Sharing and downloading dvds at the hub is not optimum use of bandwidth – torrenting dvd’s is more efficient but we do allow them. Originally produced DVDs are not to be converted to VCD in order to share them (and vice-versa – do not convert VCD to DVD). Other formats are acceptable, keeping in mind we want the BEST available for sharing. We support torrenting of shows, however the producer's wishes must be respected. If the producer asks you not to torrent - do not! Also, do not just leech here to torrent. We expect you to share what you download at the hub. We are happy to answer any questions you may have. We do expect you to do your homework too. Membership in the Rush Hub is a privilege and we expect these rules to be maintained by all. If you can abide by them then please email us.
