The switch to Data Loggers
Data logging of humidity, temperature and other condtions is a process that has traditionally been achieved with chart recorders or hygrothermographs. For over seventy years, these technologies have been the industry standard for monitoring temperature and humidity. Now data loggers, compact electronic devices, are threatening to take over.
Data loggers are superior for a variety of reasons including being much more accurate, reliable, functional and easy to maintain. Datalogger
A recording hygrometer measures the humidity of the air as well as records the data as a permanent measurement. Typically, they are either mechanical devices like chart recorders and hygrothermographs, or electronic / digital versions such as data loggers.
