What are your room rates? Our room rates are $95 for our Spring Room (private ensuite bath/air conditioned), $95 for our Winter Room (private ensuite bath/air conditioned), $95 for our Summer Room (private ensuite bath/air conditioned). It takes about 3 minutes to drive downtown or 20 - 30 min. to walk. (Please see maps) What is a Bed & Breakfast? A Bed and Breakfast usually has 2-4 rooms and is usually run by the owners. Often innkeepers have escaped from the "working" world to seek the peace and quiet of a rural setting while still enjoying some income. What you get at 7 Acres B & B is a level of personal service and comfort that is generally not available at hotels (unless you go to the kind that charge hundreds of dollars per night). Our gracious hospitality and pampering will make you want to come back again and again. How long has 7 Acres B & B been operating? The B & B was started by Martha & David in 2000. Our first guest arrived June 7, 2000. Prior to that it was a family hobby farm. We added the suites and did a considerable amount of landscaping. What is you cancellation policy? We have a 5 day cancellation policy. What amenities is 7 Acres Bed & Breakfast near to? 7 Acres Bed & Breakfast is located near Revelstoke in the Kootenay Region of British Columbia. We are blessed with natural beauty all around us. The B & B is on a 7 acre farm about 3 minutes from downtown Revelstoke, 5-10 minutes from the ski slopes & the golf courses and 5 min. from the Revelstoke National Park and 20 min. to the Glacier National Park. At 7 Acres Bed & Breakfast we take pride in giving great comfort at a great value. So many places today give you a low upfront price, but when you go to pay the bill you find its a lot more than you had anticipated and they try and nickel and dime you for everything. We don't like being treated like that and don't do it to our guests. There are no hidden costs with us. In addition to our wonderful breakfasts (most guests don't eat lunch because the breakfasts are so substantial). Does your Bed & Breakfast offer access to the internet? Yes, we have wireless internet service at 7 Acres B & B to surf the net & check your eMail. Is Smoking allowed in 7 Acres B & B? Smoking is not allowed in the Bed and Breakfast or rooms or suite. Smoking is allowed outside. We do not allow smoking inside as it makes it hard to get the smell out of the bedding & curtains and also the next guest may be allergic to the smell. So please, NO smoking inside the Bed and Breakfast. How do we get to Revelstoke? Tucked into the heart of the Selkirk Mountains on the Trans Canada (#1) Highway, Revelstoke is readily accessible from Alberta & Prairie Provinces to the east & Vancouver & Seattle, Washington State to the West via the Hwy #1 & the Coquihalla #5. From Eastern Washington & Idaho you can access either Hwys 95/93 north to Golden & then Hwy #1 west to Revelstoke or by Hwy 3A & 6 North to Nakusp & then Hwy 23 directly to Revelstoke. (Please see maps) Do all the rooms have private bathrooms? Yes, all the rooms are air conditioned & have private bathrooms that are ensuite. There is no sharing or going down the hall for the bathroom. Is parking available at your Bed & Breakfast? 7 Acres B & B has plenty of parking space. What languages do you speak? Hosts Martha & David speak fluent in English & Plautdietsch. We also speak some German & Spanish. |
