I have an older Lycoming O-340 A1A constant speed engine. This engine is certified and has been totally rebuilt. It came with a Hartzell constant speed prop that was the original propeller used with the engine. The prop is a counterweighted propeller and weighs 60 pounds, not including the spinner. This is the type of propeller that goes into course pitch if governor high pressure were to be lost.
Although this propeller looks like it was totally overhauled I
will NOT be using it as it weights to much.
