UFCW 401 runs novel organizing campaign

In an unusual organizing drive, UFCW 401 has launched a "bathroom" organizing campaign aimed at recruiting young workers. At a recent Calgary Flames games, organizers put up posters in the bathroom stalls in the Saddledome that played on the location for their appeal.

"You’re here for a number 1 or 2" reads one poster. "If either reminds you of work, give us a call."

Another shows a bathroom cubicle with "Crappy job? You can quit. Or you can do something about it" written on the cubicle door with a contact number.
