My mam's family always called her Auntie Carrie. She took to drinking
after the death of her husband "Unlcle Oz" and drank herself to death.
Had a daughter named Caroline. Married a chap who was in ENSA, possibly
a comic, the war time Entertainment section of the forces. They had
children but my mam did not know his or their names.

Worked at a Lard works in Trafford Park, Salford. Fell into a vat of
lardand died of complications due to the burns. My mam's family always
called him Uncle Oz.
