Dear Traveler:
I am thrilled to be hosting what will undoubtedly be an experience of a lifetime for me and my fellow travelers: Namaste.
I first visited India in 2000 as part of a documentary film project that examined traditional farming practices in various parts of the world. Needless to say, the diverse culture, people and food captured my heart and imagination. Since then, I have been determined to return to this magical country.
For those who have not visited India, Namaste is a wonderful way to experience all that it has to offer in an intimate, well-escorted group setting. During the course of three weeks, we will visit many of India’s cultural landmarks, experience its world-renowned cuisine, and get to know the people through our many visits to local farms.
Your adventure is also helping thousands of women and babies in BC. Proceeds from this tour will benefit BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre, Canada’s busiest maternity hospital. It’s a cause close to my heart: both of my children were born at Women’s, and I have very good memories of our experiences there. This hospital is such an amazing asset to this province and we are proud to be supporting its goal of being the women’s health leader in BC.
I look forward to our travels together and thank you for sharing this journey with me.
Sincerely.
John Bishop
