IMPORTANT INFORMATION

TSFC NATIONAL CONFERENCE
Four Winds, Changing Lives and Perceptions
Edmonton - September 14 to 16, 2006

2006 is the 30th Anniversary of the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada!

To mark the occasion the TS National Conference has been expanded to include:

- a family program which includes a dynamic, interactive children's program,
- a track for adults with TS,
- a day for educators, and
- a medical symposium.

Families and adults with TS will get practical advice and inspiration from the many speakers, workshops and social events.  They will return home energized with new knowledge and new friends.  Professionals who support those with TS will get training and insight from top experts in the field and have an opportunity to network with others who share similar challenges.

The Edmonton Chapter of the TSFC is proud to host this year's conference.

Please go to Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada for more details.

Please join us for our Annual General Meeting and an opportunity to view Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada’s new video productions on Wednesday, June 7th at 6:45 pm at the Academy at King Edward, 8525-101 Street (North entrance).

Your attendance at our Annual General Meeting is highly valued and will determine what our Edmonton Chapter will be able to do in the future to educate, create awareness, and develop understanding around the complexities of Tourette Syndrome.

Please show your support and come out and join us on this evening.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR NEWSLETTER!

Did you know that it costs over $400 each time we mail out the TS newsletter?

For the past couple of years we have been printing, folding, stamping, and licking 400 plus envelopes three times a year to get this information out. Not only is this all done on volunteer time but the cost adds up to more than $1200 per year. More than half of this total goes into envelopes and stamps.

ONLY TS members that have made a request for a hard copy of the newsletter will receive one. However, the newsletter is available for FREE to everyone by accessing the Newsletters link on our TS Edmonton web site.

We encourage members to email us at memory9522@hotmail.com to cancel their hard copy of the newsletter.

Thank you to those supporters who have opted to access the newsletter online!
