Dr. Daniel G. Amen, founder of the Amen Clinics, is a clinical neuroscientist, a psychiatrist, and the medical director of The Amen Clinics. He is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of the brain, behavior and attention deficit disorders. Dr. Amen has pioneered the use of Brain SPECT Imaging (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) in clinical psychiatric practice. The CENTER FOR COLLABORATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING provides clinical services, training, and consultation to assist education, mental health, and medical professionals and parents in understanding and implementing the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach. While this approach was originally applied to behaviorally difficult children in mental health settings and schools, it is considered to be a more effective, compassionate model for helping many different children in a diverse array of settings.

Dr. McKinlay is a registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, practicing with children and adolescents in the areas of clinical and school psychology. He is currently working for the Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) in London, Ontario, Canada. Dr. McKinlay was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age 19 - he knew that he had a "secret" by age 7. He is a past director of the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada (TSFC) and sits on this organization's Professional Advisory Board.
