     Joseph was born circa 1776. He married Marie Angelique Couture at Saint-Pierre, Ile-de-Montreal Co., Quebec, Canada, on 13 April 1801.

     Her married name was Webster. Caroline was born at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England, circa 1808. She was christened on 22 July 1825 at Gainsborough, Lincoln, England.¹ She married Charles Webster at Saint Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex, England, on 14 November 1843.^2,3 Caroline Bourn appeared on the census of 1851 in the household of Charles Webster at Uxbridge, Middlesex, England; Also listed in the household were William Shed, servant, 26, Richard Ewer, assistant, 23 , Elizabeth M. Herbert, servant 15 , Rachel Rolfe, servant, 24, and Caroline Huggins, servant, 21. Caroline Bourn appeared on the census of 1881 in the household of Charles Webster at 26 St. Andrews, Hillingdon, Middlesex, England; Living with Charles and Caroline were Emily Fention, housekeeper age 45, Charlotte Grummel, servant age 21 and Charles Barratt, groom age 35.⁴ Caroline died in June 1888.

     Wentworth was born in 1829. He was the son of Charles Webster and Elizabeth Wentworth?. Wentworth Webster Rev. appeared on the census of 1851 in the household of Charles Webster at Uxbridge, Middlesex, England; Also listed in the household were William Shed, servant, 26, Richard Ewer, assistant, 23 , Elizabeth M. Herbert, servant 15 , Rachel Rolfe, servant, 24, and Caroline Huggins, servant, 21. Wentworth Webster Rev. married Thekla L. Knipping in 1866.¹ Wentworth died on 2 April 1907 at France. He may have been educated at Lincoln College, Oxford. He became an Anglican priest.

He settled in Basque country, France around 1870. He was chaplain at Biarritz and later St. Jean de Luz. He was an expert on life and legends of the Basque people. He wrote "Les Loisirs d'un Elvanger au Pays Basque", 1901 and "Basque Legends", 1877. He later lived at Sare, after his retirement in 1882.

From his Times Obituary ".. he lived in the little Basque Village of Sare in the Lowere Pyrenees, His house overlooking the beautiful valley of Larrhun was well known to all those interested in the Basques and in Spain. It was here that Mr. Gladstone visited him."

Apparently the Mr. Gladstone mentioned also paid Wentworth a pension.

     Fanny was born in 1850. She was the daughter of Charles Webster and Caroline Bourn. Fanny C. Webster appeared on the census of 1851 in the household of Charles Webster at Uxbridge, Middlesex, England; Also listed in the household were William Shed, servant, 26, Richard Ewer, assistant, 23 , Elizabeth M. Herbert, servant 15 , Rachel Rolfe, servant, 24, and Caroline Huggins, servant, 21. She married George Woodbridge on 14 April 1875. As of 14 April 1875,her married name was Woodbridge.

     She married Henry Webster on 26 April 1827. As of 26 April 1827,her married name was Webster.

     She married John Hearne Webster. Her married name was Webster. Euphemia was born at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland, on 10 March 1821. She was the daughter of Alexander Stewart and Euphemia Kay.¹ She was baptized on 8 April 1821. Religion: (an unknown value). Euphemia died in 1916.

In the 1881 census he lived at Binfield Heath, Shiplake, Oxford, England, with his daughter Mary, age 50, a former governess, and daughter Elizabeth, age 45, also a former governess. He was a retired farmer. Robert was born in 1803. He married Sophia Webster at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 30 March 1830.

     Thomas was a linen draper, like his father, of 190 High St., Uxbridge, Middlesex. In the 1881 census he was retired at age 65 and living at Harefield Road, Hillingdon, Middlesex. His wife was Elizabeth, 42 of Brighton, Sussex. Also listed was a servant, Ellen Barker, 19. The house was called "Fairfield", which he had built.

He was known as "Gaiters" because he always wore brown leather leggings. As Essay in Uxbridge Library entitled "Peregrinations of a Kiddy"? described him as "A busy man, church warden for several years, and in other ways enterprising." Thomas was born on 7 January 1816. He was the son of Thomas Johnson and Sarah unknown. He married Maria Webster on 21 January 1837. He married Elizabeth Newman after 1872. Thomas died on 23 May 1885 at age 69.

     Margaret was born at Australia in 1847. She was the daughter of John Hearne Webster and Euphemia Kay Stewart. She trained as a nurse at the Nightingale Nurses School in 1888. In the 1881 census she was a visitor at the home of Playford and Ellen Reynolds at Merton Road 5 Park Villas, Wandsworth, Surrey, England. Playford, 37, was born in Bombay, East Indies, his wife Ellen, 32, Madras, East Indies. Their children Maria, 4, and Ann, 2, were born in Madras, East Indies. They also had twins, Arthur and Francis, 9 months, born in Reigate, Surrey, England.

Margaret was unmarried at 33. Margaret died on 16 November 1910 at 8 Durham Place, Chelsea, London, Greater London, England.

     Mary was born at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on 18 April 1849.¹ She was the daughter of John Hearne Webster and Euphemia Kay Stewart. She was baptized on 10 July 1849. Religion: (an unknown value). She married William Brock Rev. on 16 October 1873. As of 16 October 1873,her married name was Brock.

     He married Mary Anne (Marion) Webster on 16 October 1873.

     Elizabeth was born at Geelong, Victoria, Australia, on 20 May 1851.¹ She was the daughter of John Hearne Webster and Euphemia Kay Stewart. She was baptized at Australia on 13 June 1851. Religion: (an unknown value). She married Huson Morris on 19 October 1875. As of 19 October 1875,her married name was Morris. Elizabeth (Bessie) Webster was a Member of the Stock Exchange in 1881 at The Nest, Hayes, Kent, England.¹

     Euphemia was born at Belfast, Victoria, Australia, on 21 December 1853.¹ She was the daughter of John Hearne Webster and Euphemia Kay Stewart. She was baptized on 20 April 1854. Religion: (an unknown value). Her married name was Philbrick. She married Charles Philbrick.

     In the 1881 census he was a leather tanner and currier employing 22 men and 1 boy. He and Euphemia lived at Gordon Lodge, Reading St. Mary, Berkshire, England. Also listed were daughters Effie S., 2, and Ethel C., 9 months, and servants Sarah Rossiter, 34, cook, Miriam Chandler, 28, nurse, and Kate Smith, 21, housemaid. Charles was born on 26 February 1840. He married Euphemia Webster.

     In the 1881 census he was a lodger at the home of Samuel and Jane Lowe at 189 Heathfield Road, Handsworth, Stafford, England. He was 26 years old and an artichects assistant. Samuel was a retired draper and also had a 28 year old daughter, Mary Jane, unmarried and at home.

     Bessie was born at Kent, England, in May 1863.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Morris and Katherine Hannah Jackson. She married John Stewart Webster at South Yarra, Victoria, Australia, on 2 August 1890. As of 2 August 1890,her married name was Webster. Bessie died on 14 September 1947 at Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia, at age 84. She was cremated at Springvale, Victoria, Australia, on 16 September 1947.

     Arthur was born at Exeter, Devon, England, in 1862.¹ He was the son of John Hearne Webster and Euphemia Kay Stewart. In 1881 he was a clerk, 20 years old, on the London Stock Exchange. In the census he was a visitor at The Nest, Hayes, Kent, England, at the home of Son and Bessie Morris, (his sister Elizabeth and her husband Huson). Son, 32, was a member of the stock exchange and Bessie, 29, was born in Australia. Their three young children had been born in England.

     Jessie was born at Reading, Berkshire, England, circa 1863.¹ She was the daughter of John Hearne Webster and Euphemia Kay Stewart. She was baptized at Saint Mary, Reading, Berkshire, England, on 30 June 1863. Religion: (an unknown value).² Her married name was Evans. She married Howard Evans. Jessie died on 26 June 1914.

     In the 1881 census he was a student at Monkton Combe College, Monckton Combe, Somerset, England. He was 15. His last name was spelled Webester on the census, a transcription error surely.
