     In the 1881 census her name was spelled Amie F. Rayner. Annie was born in 1843. She was the daughter of Thomas Henry Johnson and Maria Webster. She married John Charles Rayner in February 1863. Annie's sister Maria married on the same day.. As of February 1863,her married name was Rayner. Annie died in 1929.

     Emily was born in 1847. She was the daughter of Thomas Henry Johnson and Maria Webster.

     John was born in 1849. He was the son of Thomas Henry Johnson and Maria Webster.

     He had seven children. James was born at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, circa 1827. He was the son of John Webster and Elizabeth Compton Hearne. James died in 1894 at Australia.

     Edward was born at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England, circa 1858. He was the son of Edward Bond and Matilda Mary (Noah) Byrt.

     Francis was born at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England, circa 1865. He was the son of Edward Bond and Matilda Mary (Noah) Byrt.

     She married William Spraggon. Her married name was Spraggon. Ann was born at Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, in 1813. Ann died in 1885 at Gateshead, Durham, England.

     William was born at Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, on 11 November 1842. He was the son of William Spraggon and Ann Storey. He married Fanny Appleby at Gateshead, Durham, England, on 18 August 1875.

     Fanny was born at Heworth, England, in 1839. She married William Spraggon at Gateshead, Durham, England, on 18 August 1875. As of 18 August 1875,her married name was Spraggon.

     In the 1881 census Robert, 36, lived with his wife Lucy, 34, at 1 St Edmunds Rd, Gateshead, Durham, England. He was a Hat & Cap Manufacturer. Also living with him were his sons William Lester, 13, Walter, 11, George Robert, 9, daughters Margaret, 7, Frances, 4, Lucy Eleanor, 2, and Margaret Hutchinson, 25, of Scotland - a general domestic servant. Robert was born at Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, on 19 October 1844. He was the son of William Spraggon and Ann Storey. He married Lucy Leslie at Heworth, Durham, England, on 3 March 1867. Robert died on 28 March 1909 at USA at age 64.

     Walter was born at Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, on 10 December 1846. He was the son of William Spraggon and Ann Storey.

     He married Rachel Spraggon at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, on 23 May 1887.

     In the 1881 census Alfred, age 7, lived with John, 68, and Margaret, 52, Sisson, farmers, of Greencroft & Langley, Durham, England.

It is interesting to note that he later named his first son John Sisson, perhaps after the man who raised him? He married Sarah Martin. Alfred was born at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, circa 1874. He was the son of Rachel Spraggon. Alfred died on 22 February 1926.

     Ada was born at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, on 26 June 1875. She was the daughter of James Parker and Rachel Spraggon. Ada died on 6 January 1940 at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, at age 64.

     Lucy was born at Heworth, Durham, England, on 20 September 1846. She may have been born at Newcastle.. She married Robert Spraggon at Heworth, Durham, England, on 3 March 1867. As of 3 March 1867,her married name was Spraggon. Lucy died on 19 February 1925 at England at age 78.

     William and Margaret emigrated in 1893. William was an accountant for Carnegie Steel between 1883 - 1932. He married Margaret Alice Bald. William was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, on 23 January 1868. He was the son of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie. William died on 10 May 1959 at Pittsburgh, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, USA, a nursing home(!, at age 91. His body was interred in May 1959 at Braddock, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania, USA, at Monongahela Cemetary.

     Walter was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, in 1870. He was the son of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie.

     In 1913 he was a chemist residing at 158 Waverley Terrace, Gateshead, Durham, England. George was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, in 1872. He was the son of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie. He married Florence Chadwick, St. Barnabas Church(! At Newcastle, Northumberland, England, on 28 April 1913.

     Margaret was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, in 1873. She was the daughter of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie. Margaret died in 1953.

     Frances was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, on 13 September 1876. She was the daughter of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie. Frances died on 30 August 1958 at age 81.

     Lucy was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, on 22 December 1878. She was the daughter of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie. Lucy died on 16 September 1951 at age 72.

     Ethel was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, on 2 May 1881. She was the daughter of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie.

     Mary was born at Gateshead, Durham, England, on 7 September 1883. She was the daughter of Robert Spraggon and Lucy Leslie. Mary died on 2 December 1961 at age 78.

     She married Alfred Spraggon. Her married name was Spraggon.

     John was born at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, on 4 September 1900. He was the son of Alfred Spraggon and Sarah Martin. John died in 1956 at Newcastle, Northumberland, England.

     Rachel died at France. Rachel was born at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, in 1904. She was the daughter of Alfred Spraggon and Sarah Martin.

     He married Margaret McCardle. Alfred was born at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, on 1 October 1908. He was the son of Alfred Spraggon and Sarah Martin. Alfred died on 25 May 1990 at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, at age 81.

     Daniel was born at Newcastle, Northumberland, England, in 1912. He was the son of Alfred Spraggon and Sarah Martin. Daniel died in 1986 at Falkland Islands.
