     She married Coyd Aaron Looney. Her married name was Looney. Rose E. Paxton was born circa 1875.¹

     David was born at New Castle, Craig Co., Viginia, USA, on 10 August 1861. He was the son of David Andrew Looney and Mary Jane Leffel. He married Amanda Virginia Fisher on 28 December 1882. David died on 15 April 1940 at Mulino, Clackamas Co., Oregon, USA, at age 78. He was buried at Zion Cemetary, Canby, Oregon, USA.¹

     Amanda Virginia Fisher was born on 29 September 1862.¹ She was the daughter of Philip Fisher and Harriet Paxton.^1,2 She married David Henry Looney on 28 December 1882. As of 28 December 1882,her married name was Looney. Amanda Virginia Fisher died on 16 July 1943 at Oregon, USA, at age 80.¹ She was buried at Zion Cemetary, Canby, Oregon, USA.¹

     She married Hugh Caldwell at Knox Co., Tennesee, USA, on 6 February 1825. As of 6 February 1825,her married name was Caldwell.

     He was probably named after his uncle, English Crawford. English was born in 1810. He was the son of Hugh Caldwell and Nancy Ferrier. He married Amelia Ann Rutherford on 17 October 1833. English died in 1848 at Tennessee, USA. English was murdered. There was a law in those days that prohibited gambling on Sunday. English had witnessed a card game that took place on a Sunday. The local constable had arrested the guilty parties and placed them in jail to await trial when the circuit judge came to Liberty (now Maynardville since 1850, when Union County Tennessee was formed). The constable had demanded that English testify at the trial. A conviction meant prison time the the guilty party.

The evening before the trial English was "bushwacked" while crossing a field near the old distillery at Graveston, Tennessee. It is unknown if anyone was ever charged with the murder. We can assume it was a friend or family member of the accused who did the deed..
