     William P. Caldwell was the son of Hugh Caldwell and Lucretia Gault Welch.

     Thomas Caldwell was the son of Hugh Caldwell and Lucretia Gault Welch.

     Amelia Ann Rutherford was the daughter of John Rutherford. Amelia never remarried after English was killed. They had 8 children and it must have been struggle to raise them on her own. Their 5th child was Mark McKinley Caldwell. She married English Caldwell on 17 October 1833. As of 17 October 1833,her married name was Caldwell.

     Stephen Holstein was the son of Henry Holstein and Mercy (Mersey) unknown. Stephen was an early explorer in Tennessee and the Holston river is named for him. John Rutherford also explored with him. John's daughter later married English Caldwell.

     Mark McKinely Caldwell was the son of English Caldwell and Amelia Ann Rutherford. He married an unknown person . Mark and his brother, Frank, fought in the Civil War for the Union.

Mark was married twice and had a large family with both wives. He married Jane McClain Kitts.

     Frank Caldwell was the son of English Caldwell and Amelia Ann Rutherford.

     She married Mark McKinely Caldwell. Her married name was Caldwell.

     Alonzo Willett Caldwell was the son of Mark McKinely Caldwell and Jane McClain Kitts.

     Nicolas Audet dit Lapointe, ancestor of the first and most extensive line of the Audet.¹ He married Desanges Blain.

     There is a record of a marriage between Desanges Blain and Louis Audet Laplant. Their child was named Sophie Audet Lapointe. It is possible that these are the same people and Pierre sometimes used a middle name of Louis. If so, Sophie should be added to the tree. She married Pierre Audet. Her married name was Audet.

a) Beloved wife Elizabeth Goldwin all and singular my Lands and Tenements wheresoever situate or subject to any Lord or Lords of any manor or Court (and also have heretofore surrend all my copyhold Lands and Tenements to the use of my Last Will and Testament) and after her decease.

b) I give devise and bequest unto my grandson William Goldwin son of my second son William Goldwin, deceased, all and singular my freehold Messuage or Tenement situate in Burnham lying between the George and the Bates now in the occupation of James Groom, a cooper, upon this Express Condition that he pay thereout unto his brother and sisters namely Ann Goldwin, Elizabeth Goldwin, Deborah Goldwin and Thomas Goldwin each the sum of £5 a piece within 12 months after the decease of my said wife Elizabeth.

c) All that copy lands and Tenement in Farnham Heath now in the occupation of William Dell, unto my Daughter Elizabeth Tims for and during the term of her natural life and after her decease unto Deborah Tims daughter of my said daughter Elizabeth Tims.

Wife Elizabeth: the featherbed whereon I now lye with the furniture belonging and also all singular other household goods and chattells.

d) My said Grandaughter Deborah Tims to pay or raise unto my two grandchildren namely William Goldwin and Thomas Goldwin, two sons of my son Edward Goldwin, deceased, the sum of £10 a piece within 12 months after the decease of my said daughter Elizabeth Timms. But in failure of payment I give to my two grandsons, William Goldwin and Thomas Goldwin, full power and lawful authority by virtue of this my Last Will and Testament to be Admitted according to the Custom of the Manor of ffarnham Royal to all said lands and Tenement in ffarnham Heath.

e) Unto my son Henry Goldwin and my two daughters namely Deborah Mason and Ann Egerson the sum of one shilling each.

f) All rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels that were mine before marriage to my said wife Elizabeth I give to my son Thomas Goldwin whom I make full and sole executor…if he refuse to be my acting executor then I appoint my wife Elizabeth as full and sole executrix.

Proved by the oath of Elizabeth Goldwin widow, relict and exor. to whom administration was granted.²
