     Reginald, youngest of the three sons and twin to Nell, was expected to enter the family business after returning from service in WW1. Apparently he didn't really want to, but since the two older sons were gone he had no choice. He eventually took over the stationery store and news paper and ran it until it was sold in 1954. He resided at Bournemourth, Dorset, England,. He married Winnifred (Jill) Wright. He married Constance Nellie Holwell. Reginald was born at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England, on 31 January 1890. A twin to Nellie.. He was the son of Albert Byrt and Kate Cox. Reginald died on 31 January 1979 at age 89.

     She is possibly a cousin to Harold Byrt in Australia. They used to correspond to each other and he referred to her as his cousin. The exact connection has not been found yet.

Nora had a music degree and taught lessons. She never married. She resided at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England,. Nora was born at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England, on 26 December 1899. She was the daughter of Albert Byrt and Kate Cox.

     Gwen had a music degree the same as her sister Nora and taught. Gwendaline immigrated to Canada in 1953. She got an apartment and started teaching piano as well as working in a law office. Gwendaline was born at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England, on 14 August 1902. She was the daughter of Albert Byrt and Kate Cox.

     Harry went to India and ended up as the Editor of the "Times of India". His common name was Harry. Albert was born at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England, on 18 March 1881. He was the son of Albert Byrt and Kate Cox. He married Dorothy Muriel Thorn on 18 November 1912. Albert died in 1966.

     She married Albert Henry Byrt on 18 November 1912. As of 18 November 1912,her married name was Byrt.

     He farms at Furness. He married Margaret Elizabeth Lane. Keith was born at Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada, on 14 February 1949. He was the son of Thomas Roy Davis and Hilda Florence (Hap) Byrt. Keith died on 22 September 1994 at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, at age 45.

     She married Keith Brian Davis. Her married name was Davis. Margaret was born at Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada, on 10 September 1949. Margaret died in 1994.

     Cuthbert was born at Ovingham, Northumberland, England, on 19 September 1810. He was the son of William Ryott Laws and Sarah Johnson. He was christened at Ovingham, Northumberland, England, on 21 October 1810. He married Catharine (Kate) Burnett at Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, on 25 June 1835. Cuthbert was present at Annie Laws's christening at Tynemouth, Northumberland, England, on 24 April 1850. His middle name was spelled Umfreville on the christening record. His occupation was "Gentleman". Cuthbert died on 17 January 1882 at age 71. His body was interred at Ovingham, Northumberland, England.

     She married Cuthbert Umfreville Laws at Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, on 25 June 1835. As of 25 June 1835,her married name was Laws. Catharine was present at Annie Laws's christening at Tynemouth, Northumberland, England, on 24 April 1850. Catharine died in December 1851.¹

It is also interesting to note, his parents were married only four months before his birth.. He was the son of Cuthbert Laws (Lawes) and Ann Richardson. He married Sarah Johnson at Ovingham, Northumberland, England, on 21 August 1809. William died on 17 August 1853 at age 79.

     Sarah was born at Prudhoe Castle, Ovingham, Northumberland, England, on 16 March 1787. She married William Ryott Laws at Ovingham, Northumberland, England, on 21 August 1809. As of 21 August 1809,her married name was Laws. Sarah died on 23 May 1857 at age 70.

     His name was also spelled Lawes.

An IGI record shows a Sarah Lawes, christened January 4, 1779 at Ovingham with the same parents as the other children are listed. She is probably another child of Cuthbert and Ann. Cuthbert was born at Chopwell Wood, Durham, England, in 1737. He was the son of William Laws. He married Ann Richardson at Ovingham, Northumberland, England, on 1 March 1774. Cuthbert died on 20 June 1794.

     William Laws was the son of William Laws. He married ?? Ann Louisa Bell at Ryton, Durham, England, on 29 December 1733. William died on 17 November 1782.

     William Laws was the son of William Laws. William died on 26 September 1746.

     William died. William was born in 1613. An LDS IGI record lists a William Laws, christened April 23, 1613 in Broadchalk, Wiltshire. Father was William Laws, mother Ann Randall. It is quite possible that this is another family but just as possible that this is our William.. He was the son of William Laws and Mabel unknown.
