Sarah Bowman married Robert A. Blalock on 14 July 1850 at Guilford Co., North Carolina, USA. Sarah Bowman appeared on the census of 1880 in the household of Robert A. Blalock at Deep River, Guilford County, North Carolina, USA; Robert was listed as a farmer, Sarah keeping house, Charles Fuller working on farm, and nephew John Bowman 22 working on farm along with his sister Mary 20 doing housework.¹

     He married Beulah M. Bowman at Indiana, USA, on 22 July 1852.

     Elmer moved his family to Minneapolis, MN in 1901. He was employed by the State of Minnesota as Assistant Chief Grain Weigher. It was in this capacity that he travelled to Paris and was presented with a cane that has been handed down through the family. He was a member of the Republican Party, Moose Lodge, and the Disciples of Christ Christian Church. Elmer was born at Eagleton, Hamilton Co., Indiana, USA, on 26 March 1867. He was the son of Levi Reynolds Bowman and Almarinda Clementine Neugen.      Bert farmed the Bowman family farm until about 1910 perhaps, when he bought the Adam Devore farm a few miles from the family home. Bert sold this farm in Middleville in September 1941. Ethelbert was born at Middleville, Wright Co., Minnesota, USA, on 7 December 1871. He was the son of Levi Reynolds Bowman and Almarinda Clementine Neugen. He married Martha J. Workman at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, USA, on 12 December 1902. Ethelbert died on 16 August 1958 at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, USA, at age 86.

     William was born at Middleville, Wright Co., Minnesota, USA, on 12 March 1874. He was the son of Levi Reynolds Bowman and Almarinda Clementine Neugen. William died before 1904.

     Her common name was Kate Plomteaux. She married Levi Reynolds Bowman at Middleville, Wright Co., Minnesota, USA, on 26 September 1876. As of 26 September 1876,her married name was Bowman. Kate was separated from her husband, Levi Reynolds Bowman in March 1880.

     To her father's best knowledge she was still living in 1904. Mary died. Mary was born in March 1878. She was the daughter of Levi Reynolds Bowman and Kate Plomteau.

     She married Edmond Franklin Bowman at Henry Co., Indiana, USA, in 1843. As of 1843,her married name was Bowman.

     John William Bowman was the son of Edmond Franklin Bowman and Nancy Boren. John died.

When the family moved to Baudette, MN he remained behind in Minneapolis to work as a grocery boy. He was killed while hunting with a friend when he was 15. He was crawling through a fence when his friend's shotgun fell over and fired, killing him..

     Carl Bowman was the son of Ellis Bowman and Cora Rice. Carl died. At about age 20, Carl went to Chicago, Illinois to work at Marshall Fields department store. Not too long after that, the family lost track of him and does not know what happened to him.

     He married Anna Williams. Ralph was born at Malmo, Aikin Co., Minnesota, USA, on 17 August 1902. He was the son of Ellis Bowman and Cora Rice. Ralph died on 15 March 1983 at Hibbing, St. Louis Co., Minnesota, USA, at age 80. His body was interred on 18 March 1983 at Eveleth Cemetary.

     Frank was born at Wisconsin, USA, in 1905. He was the son of Ellis Bowman and Cora Rice. Frank died on 18 June 1948 at Fergus Falls, Otter Tail Co., Minnesota, USA.

     Charlotte Bowman was the daughter of Ellis Bowman and Cora Rice.

     Her body was interred at Carp Cemetary. Her married name was Dunn. Ivy was born at Spooner Township, Baudette Co., Minnesota, USA, in 1913. She was the daughter of Ellis Bowman and Cora Rice. Ivy died on 16 February 1933.

     Her body was interred at Sylvan Cemetary. Jane was born on 12 March 1869. She was the daughter of David McVeety and Elizabeth Fraser. She married Elmer Crease Bowman at Middleville, Wright Co., Minnesota, USA, on 3 July 1889. As of 3 July 1889,her married name was Bowman. Jane died on 26 December 1946 at age 77.
