     Muriel was born on 26 February 1915. She was the daughter of Albert Joseph Strauss and Elsie Gobble. Muriel died on 2 December 1917 at age 2.

     They homesteaded in Meeker County in 1869 and were still there in 1880. It is reported they moved back to Kentucky in 1881, remained there briefly, then moved to Spokane, Washington. ca 1887, where both spouses died. There is no record of their deaths and they were not found in the 1900 census.

She married Spencer Perry Collins at Johnson Co., Kentucky, USA, on 28 September 1860. As of 28 September 1860,her married name was Collins. Eliza died on 24 September 1906 at Kingston, Meeker Co., Minnesota, USA, at age 63.

     Spencer was born at John's Creek, Floyd Co., Kentucky, USA, on 14 January 1839. He was the son of Christopher Collins and Cynthia Speers. He married Eliza A. Gobble at Johnson Co., Kentucky, USA, on 28 September 1860. Spencer died on 24 April 1889 at age 50.
