     Margery died. Margery was born at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 19 March 1892. She was the daughter of William Mills Bayley and Ellinor Webster.

     Helen was born on 19 November 1897. She was the daughter of William Mills Bayley and Ellinor Webster. She married Frederic Clifton Deane at Eton, Berkshire, England, on 25 January 1922. As of 25 January 1922,her married name was Deane. She married George R. Scutt at Wantage, Oxfordshire, England, in 1937. As of 1937,her married name was Scutt. Helen died in 1976.

     George died. He married Helen Marion Bayley at Wantage, Oxfordshire, England, in 1937.

     He eventually inherited the farm from Emma Wilson (Bayley), daughter of John Edgeson and Fanny Hoare. He sold it around 1900 but the buildings are still there in 2000, although it is no longer a farm. It ceased to be a farm around 1954. Much of the land is now a housing estate, another part is Burnham Beeches Golf Course.

Lower Britwell Farm is part of a prestigious Bridge Club but developed so as to preserve the old barn and farmhouse. Upper Britwell Farm exists as residential buildings.

In the 1881 British census he was listed as a farmer with 900 acres at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Bickinghamshire, England. He employed 25 men, 10 boys and 6 women.

Also listed were Jessie Smith, 19, a niece and governess, Ellen Pusey, 19, a domestic cook, and Ann Stannett, 18, a housemaid.

He was the son of William Bayley and Elizabeth Frances Kemshead. He married Sarah Mills at Bisham, Berkshire, England, on 28 April 1859. William died on 22 February 1918 at age 83.

     Sarah was born at Bray Park, Berkshire, England, in December 1833. She was the daughter of John Thomas Mills and Jane unknown. She married William Bayley at Bisham, Berkshire, England, on 28 April 1859. As of 28 April 1859,her married name was Bayley. Sarah died on 21 March 1910 at age 76.

     Frank was born on 3 November 1862. He was the son of William Bayley and Sarah Mills. Frank died circa 1881.

     An Australian Directory lists Bayley, Ernest J. 1904 at Campbell's Creek. Ernest was born at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 13 August 1866. He was the son of William Bayley and Sarah Mills. He married Florence Louisa Elsie Philley at Victoria, Australia, in 1896. Ernest died on 18 February 1917 at Campbell's Creek, Australia, at age 50.

     In the 1881 British census he was listed as Frederick William Bayley at 17 years of age. Frederick was born on 19 January 1864. He was the son of William Bayley and Sarah Mills. He married Edith Mary Headington at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 30 June 1891. Frederick died in January 1958.

     Alfred was born at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 21 February 1865. He was the son of William Bayley and Sarah Mills. He married Florence Webster at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 29 May 1890. Alfred died circa 1947.

     Florence died. Florence was born at Dorney Wood, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, circa 1866. She was the daughter of William Webster and Elizabeth Winder. She married Alfred Bayley at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 29 May 1890. As of 29 May 1890,her married name was Bayley.

     Frances was born at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 23 May 1860. She was the daughter of William Bayley and Sarah Mills. Frances died on 20 October 1901 at age 41.

     In the 1881 British census Elizabeth was listed as residing at Westlands Ladies School in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. The prinicipal was Maria Greysmark. Elizabeth was 13 at the time. Elizabeth was born at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 2 November 1867. She was the daughter of William Bayley and Sarah Mills. She married Robert Arthur Lunnon at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 18 November 1891. As of 18 November 1891,her married name was Lunnon. Elizabeth died on 15 November 1939 at age 72.

     William was born at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, circa 1817. He was the son of John Webster and Elizabeth Compton Hearne. He married Elizabeth Winder at Church of St Sepulchre, London, Greater London, England, on 4 March 1850.¹ William Webster appeared on the census of 1851 at 49 High Street, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England; Also on the census was Ann Aldrige, 20 servant. He was a witness at Arthur George Barnett and Kate Webster's wedding at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 18 November 1873.² He was a witness at Louis William Francis Deane and Harriet Webster's wedding at Eton, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 19 April 1881. William died on 15 March 1904. In the 1881 British census, William, 64, was a Farmer & Seedman at Dorney Wood Farm, Buckingham, owning 355 acres and employing 9 men, 4 boys and 2 women. The census showed his wife, Elizabeth, 53, his daughters Harriet, 23, Florence, 15 and Madeline, 11.

Also listed were Nina Brooks, 22, a domestic cook, and Anne Hancock, 16, a housemaid.

In the 1891 census only Elinor, 23, and Madeline, 21, are shown as daughters. Elinor was not shown on the 1881 census but at 13 could have been away at school or working in a domestic job somewhere. Wife, Elizabeth, was 64.

Also listed were Fanny Ashley, 19, general servant, and Alice Arnell, 15, servant.

She married Maurice Bayley at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 20 February 1872. As of 20 February 1872,her married name was Bayley.

     Maurice was born at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 30 April 1843. He was the son of William Bayley and Elizabeth Frances Kemshead. He married Elizabeth Compton Webster at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 20 February 1872. Maurice died in 1918.

     Mary Webster was the daughter of William Webster and Elizabeth Winder. Mary died. She married William Webster; William and Mary were cousins.

     Kate was born at Dorney, Buckinghamshire, England, on 13 October 1855. She was the daughter of William Webster and Elizabeth Winder. Her common name was Kitty Webster. Kate Webster was baptized on 11 November 1855 at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ Kate and Arthur George Barnett had marriage banns published at Remenham, Berkshire, England, on 9 November 1873. She married Arthur George Barnett at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 18 November 1873.¹ As of 18 November 1873,her married name was Barnett. Kate appears on the 1881 census at Hampstead Farm, Eye & Dunsden, Oxford, England. She was 27 and Arthur was 39, a farmer of 400 acres employing 10 men and 5 boys. Also with them were daughter Hannah age 5, son Arthur R., age 2, son George age 2 m, all born at Dunsden, Oxford. Also present was a sister-in-law Helena Webster, age 12, scholar. This could be Elinor Webster, who isn't found at home in the 1881 census. A nephew, Arthur A. Sampson 14 of London was a helper on the farm. They had two servants, Jane Fisher 20, cook and Kate Wheeler 17, nursemaid. Kate died on 11 March 1941 at Henley-on-Thames-Hospital, Henley-on-Thames, Oxford, England, at age 85.¹

     Madeline died. Hand-written information in the family states that Daisy was a spinster. She married Hubert Flower. Her married name was Flower. Madeline was born at Dorney, Buckinghamshire, England, circa 1870. She was the daughter of William Webster and Elizabeth Winder.

     He married Elizabeth Frances Kemshead. William was born at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 13 June 1800. He was the son of William Bayley and Jannett Randall. William died on 4 July 1867 at Britwell Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, at age 67. His will names his son William and John Thomas Mills of Cookham, Berks executors..

     John was born at Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 13 July 1841. He was the son of William Bayley and Elizabeth Frances Kemshead. He married Katherine Hollis Perkins at St. Giles in the Fields, Middlesex, England, on 6 June 1868. John died on 7 June 1918 at Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, at age 76.

     Thomas was born at Hambledon, Buckinghamshire, England, on 11 April 1815. He was the son of Thomas Deane and Anne Barnett. Thomas Huttons Deane was baptized on 16 May 1815 at Hambleden, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He was christened at Hambledon, Buckinghamshire, England, on 10 August 1817. He appeared on the census of 1841 at Coldstrop, Hambleden, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He appeared on the census of 1851 at Hutton's Farm, Hambleden, Buckinghamshire, England; He was 35, unmarried and a farmer of 280 acres employing 13 labourers. He was the only one listed at Hutton's Farm.¹ He married Emily Susan Clift at Watlington, Oxfordshire, England, on 25 September 1851.² Thomas Huttons Deane appeared on the census of 1861 at Hutton's Farm, Hambleden, Buckinghamshire, England; In this census he was married, farmed 300 acres and employed 10 men and 4 boys.¹ He was a witness at Louis William Francis Deane and Harriet Webster's wedding at Eton, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England, on 19 April 1881. He is also noted as marrying someone named Anne. Whether this is an earlier or later wife or the same person as Mary Clift is unknown. Or, were Mary Clift and Emily Clift two different people? Hand written information passed down in the family indicates that he did marry twice.

The 1881 British Census shows him dwelling at Huttons Hambledon, Buckingham. He was a widower, a farmer, holding 280 acres and employed 8 men and 2 boys. Also in his household was Louis W.F. Deane, his son, aged 25, Ellen Stowe, aged 28, a visitor and Governess by occupation and Julia Stowe, aged 32, also a visitor and Governess. There was also a general domestic servant, Mary Pike, aged 16.

His will left all to his son Louis, an amount of 1437.18 pounds.

An IGI record shows a Thomas Deane christened Sep 18, 1805, Beaconsfield, Buckingham with parents Thomas Deane and Mary Commyears. The dates don't match up unless he didn't get christened until just before he married, however this could certainly be a nephew or cousin. Also christened at the same location with the same parents were Maria Deane Oct 25, 1807 and Eliza Deane Feb 18, 1810.³ Thomas died on 14 August 1887 at Huttons House, Hambledon, Buckinghamshire, England, at age 72. He was buried on 18 August 1887 at Hambleden, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ His estate was probated on 13 February 1888 at Oxford, England.¹
