     Guillaume was born at La Prairie, Laprairie Co., Quebec, Canada, on 28 November 1675. He was the son of Andre Robidou and Jeanne Denote. He married Marie Francoise Guerin at Montreal, Ile-de-Montreal Co., Quebec, Canada, on 11 June 1697. Guillaume died on 8 July 1754 at Montreal, Ile-de-Montreal Co., Quebec, Canada, at age 78.

     Marie died. Marie was born at Montreal, Ile-de-Montreal Co., Quebec, Canada, in 1680. She was the daughter of Silvain Guerin and Marie Braseau. She married Guillaume Robidou at Montreal, Ile-de-Montreal Co., Quebec, Canada, on 11 June 1697. As of 11 June 1697,her married name was Robidou.

     Andre came to Quebec from France in the mid 1600's. He was the first Robidou in Canada and there are 51 different spelling of Robidoux all descended from Andre.

The original spelling is Robido. He was from Galicia, Spain, parish of Santa Maria, of the Burgos bishopric, which covered all of Northern Spain. Galicia itself covers only the north-western most corner above Portugal. His parents were Manuel and Catherine Alva. There is no evidence to show they were French nationals living in Spain. Manuel is an exclusively Spanish name and Emmanuel, the French variant, is almost never used as a first name. Alva is a very old Spanish name. There are many Robidos in Latin America, who's families came from Spain. Most of the confusion goes back to a book written by the wife of one of the four Robidoux brothers who were early pioneers of the American west. She gave Manuel's place of birth as St. Germaine Auxerre, Paris. This, however, was Jeanne Denote's parish and is not on the original marriage record. The record states only that Manuel Robido and Catherine Alva are still living in Santa Maria, Galicia, Spain at the time of the marriage. The 1666 census notes that Andre was a sailor and probably as a sailor chased adventure to Canada. We can't actually know why a Spaniard was with the French, but he was.

The 1666 census for the Quebec shows Andre as a sailor employed bu Eustache lambert, a prominent interpreter, settler and fur-trader. Employess were paid ten cents a day with board and lodging.¹ Andre was born at Ste Marie, Galicia, Burgos, Spain, circa 1643. He was the son of Emmanuel Robidou and Catherine Alve. He married Jeanne Denote at Quebec, Canada, on 7 June 1667. Andre died on 12 April 1678 at Montreal, Ile-de-Montreal Co., Quebec, Canada.

     Jeanne was born at St. Germaine Auxerre, Paris, France, circa 1645. She was the daughter of Antoine Denot and Catherine Le Duc. She married Andre Robidou at Quebec, Canada, on 7 June 1667. As of 7 June 1667,her married name was Robidou. She married Jacques Suprenant on 16 August 1678. As of 16 August 1678,her married name was Suprenant. Jeanne died on 10 October 1710 at La Prairie, Laprairie Co., Quebec, Canada.

     Emmanuel died. Andre's marriage record showed that Manuel and Catherine were still living in Santa Maria, Galicia, Spain at the time of the marriage. His name was also given as Manuel Robido. He married Rosalie Beauregard at Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada, on 24 July 1866.

     Rosalie died. She married Jean Antoine Gelineau at Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada, on 24 July 1866. As of 24 July 1866,her married name was Gelineau.

     Exilda Gelineau was the daughter of Jean Antoine Gelineau and Rosalie Beauregard. She married Israel Gelineau at Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada, on 15 February 1889.

     He was baptized at Valcourt, Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada. Religion: (an unknown value). His God Parent's were Olivier Beaudry (Phebee's brother) and Emma Beaudry (Phebee's 1/2 sister).. Albert was born on 5 July 1902. He was the son of Joseph Georges Gelineau and Phebee Beaudry. He married Anna Alice Blanchard at Enfant-Jesus d'Eli, Quebec, Canada, on 5 August 1925. Albert died on 3 June 1986 at Saint-Hyacinthe, Saint-Hyacinthe Co., Quebec, Canada, at age 83.

     Camille was born in December 1903. He was the son of Joseph Georges Gelineau and Phebee Beaudry. Camille died in 1965.

     Adeline was also known as Marie Adelina. She married Darius Gelineau at Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada, on 22 January 1900. As of 22 January 1900,her married name was Gelineau.
