This marriage seems unlikely as Nicolas and Jeanne Lelievre had children both before and after this marriage date. One child listed as Catherine's was also listed as Jeanne's; Marie Jeanne born Aug 15, 1664. However, the other child listed as Catherine's, Jeanne Elisabeth, born Aug 17, 1664, isn't listed elsewhere. Perhaps Jeanne Elisabeth was illegitimate.. Nicolas died on 27 April 1690 at Chateau-Richer, Montmorency, Quebec, Canada, at age 50.
